Analog brain in a digital world

Hi Friends,

We all know that life is serious. If we forget, we can turn on the news for a few minutes and be reminded. But let me ask you this. Are you like me? Have you ever had the particular gift or talent of making life even more serious than it already is?

If so, I have three free downloads for you. They're at the bottom of this page.

I used to write love songs for the pop and Nashville markets. While I was up to my ears in that, life happened. I'm sure you know how that goes. I got redirected, not without a fight, onto the path of personal renewal and responsibility. I like to say it was a pit stop at the AFGO Station. (Another Friendly Growth Opportunity.)

Conscious Hilarious Music

New songs began emerging, about what works in life and what doesn't. Realizing a sense of humor was vital, that started showing up in my music. I can't help it. life is funny. I need to feel comically as well as cosmically connected. Maybe you do too.

On this site you'll find music, videos, a new book, and a humor blog that help us see the best in ourselves, and laugh at the rest of ourselves. They're like WD-40 for your relationships, your moments of confusion, the things you want to accomplish in life, and your connection to the Big Mystery. Some of them will give you a healthy dose of "lighten up" if you need it. Some of them have even won awards.

Three free downloads

To get you started, I'd like to give you some free downloads. You can keep them, put them on your ipod, burn them on a CD, listen to them as many times as you like. They don't self-destruct after 3 plays. They're yours forever.

The first is Self-Employment Made Harder By Difficult Boss.
Have you ever worked with a difficult employer or employee? Self-employed or not, we can all relate.

Your second download is The (New) Top 10 Whiny Victim Love Songs.
There are good love songs, and there are songs that masquerade as love songs, but are really about taking hostages. They literally ask for pain, and encourage emotional slavery. Let us consign them to their rightful place in the world of entertainment: material for comedy! I promise you will never listen to music the same way again.

The third download is one of my CD title songs: Roberto's Song (How Could Life Be Better Than This) It's about appreciating what we have in life. Sometimes we forget.

Just fill in the box below and you'll automatically be sent a link to the download page. I'll also send you a sample of my irregular and irreverent email newsletter. It gets published every few months, whenever I feel like it. I keep it short and fun, with an article by me, my concert schedule, announcements of new CDs, or any other short bits I feel are worth passing along. I promise not to fill up your inbox, and will never share your info.

(If you think you're already on my mailing list, please fill out the box anyway. We'll delete any duplicates. Thanks.)

ADVISORY: Greg's songs contain anti-depressive lyrics.
